At the end of the week, clients leave with an action plan that includes fifty-two weeks of aftercare. In addition to professional counseling, Rob offers life coaching, consultation, and training on his Iceberg Model of Transformation™.

Rob has contributed to books published by Focus on the Family®, including The Complete Guide to the First Five Years of Marriage, The Smart Groom’s Guide to Marriage and The Savvy Bride’s Guide to Marriage. He’s also written extensively for their website, pureintimacy.org. Dr. James Dobson included Rob as his guest on broadcasts with Focus on the Family® and FamilyTalk™, where they discussed The Seductive Lure of Internet Pornography.

Rob’s personal story includes daily panic attacks that he began suffering in middle school. By his junior year in college Rob’s physical health could no longer bear the increasing weight of anxiety and depression. Diagnosed with a severe bout of mononucleosis, and severely underweight, the doctor ordered Rob to bed rest for a month. Back at school, Rob began his recovery, eventually adding a major in psychology. He began to develop his Iceberg Model of Transformation™ before completing a master degree in clinical psychology. This background, and Rob’s recovery from panic disorder and depression, makes compassion and empathy for others easy. Far more important than Rob’s past, however, is his ongoing experience with Christ that makes all the difference.

Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. He comforts us in all our affliction,  so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so through Christ our comfort also overflows.

2 Corinthians 1:3-5 HCSB
